Up to December 2002 the "Centro" was run uninterruptedly by Paolo Grossi, with the assistance of a Board whose members have been, again without interruption, Pietro Costa (legal historian) and, up to 1985, Piero Fiorelli (another legal historian), Francesco Romano (expert on civil law), and Luigi Lombardi Vallauri (expert on legal philosophy). Between 1985 and December 2002 serving alongside Grossi and Costa on the Board were Maurizio Fioravanti (legal historian), Umberto Allegretti (expert on administrative law) and Andrea Proto Pisani (expert on civil proceeding).
From 2003 to 2012 Pietro Costa has been the Director of the journal, and Bernardo Sordi (legal historian) the Director of the "Centro" and the Board of the "Centro" has been made up, alongside Sordi and Costa, of Paolo Cappellini (legal historian), Francesco Palazzo (expert on criminal law) and Vincenzo Varano (expert on comparative law).
On the fortieth year of the Quaderni fiorentini Giovanni Cazzetta (legal historian) has become the Director of the journal and Paolo Cappellini the Director of the "Centro". In the period 2013-2017 the Advisory Board of the "Centro" was made up of Paolo Cappellini, Maurizio Fioravanti, Paolo Grossi, Francesco Palazzo, Silvana Sciarra (expert on labour law), Bernardo Sordi.
For the period 2018-2022 Paolo Cappellini and Giovanni Cazzetta were confirmed respectively as the Director of the "Centro" and as the Director of the journal. The Advisory Board of the "Centro" was made up, along with Paolo Cappellini and Giovanni Cazzetta, of Vittoria Barsotti (expert on comparative law), Pietro Costa, Maurizio Fioravanti, Paolo Grossi, Luca Mannori, Bernardo Sordi, Irene Stolzi and Giovanni Tarli Barbieri (expert on constitutional law).
